Helena's work aims to make injustices visible, relatable & changeable. She is currently focusing on finding ways of undoing repressive masculinity; creating spaces for men to move together, express themselves and dismantle layers of destructive maleness.
She collaborated with Rosie Heafford and Alexandrina Hemsley to create Dad Dancing (2012-2018) a Battersea Arts Centre co-production. She makes her own solo work, Majesty. And has recently run a Dance and Choreography course at HMP Wormwood Scrubs.
Helena trained at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Trinity Laban and has been working professionally since 2009. She lives in South East London and likes trees.
